Sign the Contract and Pay the deposit

In the confirmation email, a contract will be attached as well as the Zelle/Venmo address for the 50% deposit. Please submit both items before the session.

Prepare and arrive early

Arrive 15-20 minutes to ensure you begin your session relaxed. Iron regalia, bring a change of shoes, water, and any props you'd like in the photo!

Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

The only travel fee charged applies to graduates who wish to have 30 minutes at an extra off-campus location. Standard on-campus bookings do not carry a travel fee but are limited to the following campuses.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

A graduation photoshoot is a wonderful way to celebrate your hard work. Since this is your first time in front of a professional lens, here is a quick guide to help you feel prepared and confident.

1. What should I wear?

The Outfit: Wear something that makes you feel amazing. Solids or subtle patterns usually photograph better than busy prints.

The Regalia: Bring your cap, gown, tassel, and any stoles or cords. Make sure they are steamed or ironed beforehand, wrinkles show up clearly in photos!

Shoes: You’ll likely be walking between spots. Wear comfortable shoes or bring a pair of flats to change into between shots.

2. How should I pose?

I will help you pose! I will guide you on angles and lighting, that's what I'm there for!

3. What props should I bring?

Classics: Champagne (for a "pop" shot), confetti (make sure it’s biodegradable!), or a chalkboard with your graduation year. Each campus may have different policies on allowed and prohibited items.

Personal touches: Anything that represents your major or hobbies (e.g., a stethoscope, a specific book, or your pet).

4. Pro-Tips for Success

Timing: "Golden Hour" (the hour before sunset) provides the most flattering, soft light.

Hydrate: Drink plenty of water the day before so your skin looks fresh.

Arrive Early: Give yourself 15-20 minutes to find parking and check your hair/makeup so you don't start the session feeling rushed.

Weather is the one thing you can't control, but photographers deal with it all the time. If the forecast looks grim, don't panic—here is how it's typically handled:

1. The "Wait and See" Strategy

Most photographers won't officially cancel until 24 to 48 hours before the shoot. Forecasts change rapidly, and what looks like a storm today might just be a light morning sprinkle by the time your afternoon session rolls around.

2. Standard Procedures

Rescheduling: This is the most common outcome for heavy rain or high winds. I offer a free reschedule if the weather is not favorable or if it is dangerous for you and me.

Embracing the Mood: Overcast or "gloomy" days are actually a photographer's favorite. Clouds act as a giant softbox, creating even lighting that is much more flattering for your skin than harsh, direct sunlight.
